Sky Lark

Image
It was a late morning when I took this Photo. Actually I was with my birding friends to a dry lake where lapwings were expected. Red wattled lapwing is frequently seen in our area and yellow wattled lapwing a little rare. We were in search of Yellow wattled lapwing and found only red wattled. Then we thought of returning. But I said my friends that I would like to spend some more time and they left. Then I saw this bird moving around. First I thought it's a Bush Lark which is frequently seen. Then when the crest on the head lifted I immediately ran behind the bird because it was my first sighting of Sky Lark. Then I slowly moved closer to it. When it was at 15-20 feet away took the first shot. Then approached nearer and nearer and at last was nearly 8-10 feet away and fully lying down on land to take this breathtaking shot. Was very happy and satisfied of the day's birding 😊😊. Will come back soon with another great photograph. 👋👋 May 2021 it was shot on. SonyRX1...

It was an early evening when I got this beautiful click. I was with my camera riding bike to villages for birding. I was very slow cautiously searching for any birds by the roadside. That's when I saw this beautiful bird on top of a dead tree which was only 3-4 feet high. I know it's gonna be a great shot if clicked. Slowly I stopped my vehicle and didn't get down as the bird may fly off. Using my feet slowly pushed the bike little nearer to the bird and as though I don't bother about the bird, looked to other subjects around and took my camera from my bag slowly and at last ended in a great lovely shot.  April 2021 it was shot SonyRX10iv the camera used.  Thank you. Will come back with another beautiful image soon.  www.facebook.com/johnclicks YouTube: Johnbosco Michael Wildlife Instagram1: johnbosco_michael_wildlife Instagram2: johnbosco_michael_macros
